This pendant looks just as good as you see on the screen, though it is smaller than I imagined it would be. Her reaction was incredibly positive, even after I was worried after seeing the size of the pendant and the thin chain. Overall, I think this represents one of the best values on Amazon, as far as the jewelry is concerned.
Guys - Buy this, and you will not regret it….when you get the package, don’t judge it by what you see, judge it by her reaction when you give it to her. The only reason it gets four stars instead of five by me is because I decided to replace the chain, but my guess is that she would have loved it without the chain replacement.

I bought this necklace for my sister for Christmas and it turned out to be so beautiful that I almost kept it! It is true that the necklace is more red than the Amazon photo depicts, but since the description says garnet I knew it would be more red than the pinkish. I can see why some people would be upset because the necklace isn’t exactly a duplicate of the photo shown here. However, I think that the necklace is more beautiful than the one in the photo. The silver scrolling is very intricate and unusual. It’s different than most of the other heart shaped necklaces available. The quality is excellent. I feel that I got a good deal. No regrets.
This necklace is well made and hefty. The only problem is while the picture shows a reddish colored heart and I probably should have payed more attention to the description. It is listed as a garnet glass pendant and it is which means it is a muddy brown color. Being sort of crafty I extracted the ugly brown heart and replaced it with something more see through so you can see the detailing better. Then I was happy.
I’ll start off by saying the actual necklace design is beautiful, even in person it’s gorgeous. Not cheap looking at all. It’s heavy and feels nice in your hand. For once I felt I wasn’t cheated by amazons photography (as I so often am when buying jewelry).
However, when I opened it I realized it’s black looking. Who wants a black heart!??! That’s the complete opposite feel you’re going for when buying this!! When held up to the light it’s not even reddish…it’s dark brown. I was very disappointed, red is my favorite color and I purchased this specifically because it WAS red. It looks very red in the photo too…very deceiving…amazon got me again with their overly done photography, they should really stop photoshopping so much.
