I lost my original cannon charger for the canon sd1000 camera. I didn't want to pay the high price of $40 to $50 for a new charger. I thought I try amazon for a generic version that is within my budget. I saw this and thought what a great price it was for only $6.00 which doesn't include shipping and handling. I bought this in July, 2010.
I was quite please at first. The charger charges the battery just fine. Then about two months ago, I was going to Rome, Italy for my vacation. The charger just stop working. When I plug the charger in the outlet, there was this dim flashing green light on the charger. I left the battery in the charger overnight and found that the battery was still dead. I was so disappointed with the charger. I logged back to amazon and got the brand name canon charger. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Maybe another generic version. |
